Is skin to skin contact important to you? We talk about it a lot with babies. It's easier then too. Breastfeeding and infant massage? While I'm still breastfeeding Otis, achieving skin to skin contact with a wriggly toddler can be difficult.
.
Otis has taken to having a shower with me. It's rarely convenient. He doesn't play at my feet like Caspar used to. He likes to be held close under the warm running water. Often he falls asleep. Oh my beautiful babe. I'm not sure if it's the water or the comfort of being held that he likes most.
.
When Caspar cannot sleep or if he's unwell he likes a back rub. Sometimes when we are reading he will rest his cheek on mine. Caspar is a bit of a hand holder too. With his Dad there is heaps of chasing, wrestling and raspberries. How do you maintain that contact, that closeness as your child gets older?
