How was your weekend? Mine was a blur. Friday we received some posting news. Defence families will know what this means. We are feeling happy and sad at the same time. New beginnings are in front of us and it's important that we look forward with positivity. Yes, I'm already scouting new schools but we won't have anything official to announce until later in the year (it's likely we are Queensland bound).
My sister had her first child a little over two weeks ago. I love receiving photos and frequent updates. We don't live close but a visit is in order. Otis took a photograph of his new cousin to school and was so proud.
Caspar has been playing soccer for a couple of years now however is quite confused over the term football. Australians especially those who call soccer 'football' will understand. So today we took Caspar to his first football or rugby game. It was so exciting and considering we live so close to Canberra Stadium we should have done it sooner.
Yesterday my printer stopped working and I was devastated. Without a printer my working life grinds to a halt. I one hundred percent went with the recommendations by the sales assistant (Canon) and disregarded all online reviews. Foolish perhaps. If you have an absolutely fabulous printer I would love to hear your recommendation.
The store is bursting with new aprons. We've never before had so much variety - we have toddler and child aprons in cotton and water resistant and fabulous teacher aprons. If you are in the US you can buy aprons direct from Handmade Montessori. Also the gorgeous crochet rattle pictured above is available in the US direct from Pinkhouse Handworks. We are also fully stocked on wooden trays and Matching and Language Sets (however Musical Instruments are limited). For our giveaway (a Montessori Starter Kit) please visit the store news feed here.
I hope you enjoy what is left of your Sunday.
