A few pictures from today, plant edition! I know I only wrote about indoor plants last week. They are just so important to introduce into the home and in children's areas. Indoor Green - Living with Plants (not yet available in the US) is my new favourite book. It's really beautiful and inspiring. I recommend it if you love indoor plants. (You can find more details here in Australia). It contains so many ideas for indoor plants.
Currently reading the DK Plant book - it comes with an amazing wall chart we are thinking about framing, it's suitable for both boys (5 and 8yrs). Above is our Aloe, which I think is ready for propagating!
I love big glossy green leaves. Above is our Monstera.
I also love a good hanging plant. It might not work if you have toddlers but my boys are gentle enough to enjoy its beauty and work around the plants. I believe this hanging (and sturdy) plant is a Peperomia.
Learning about growth rings! These tree slices have been perfect for our nature table and I didn't realise how interesting they would be. Also reading The Tree Book for Kids and Their Grown-Ups.
