Today I'm sharing a whole range of hand washing and care of self stations. Some of these are in Montessori schools and some are in home environments.
The above example is by Nido de Montessori, a Montessori school for children from 18 months in British Columbia.
There are two examples here, by Montessori Mother a Montessori guide in Berlin, Germany. The second example (pictured outside) is made from an Ikea wine rack, they have removed the middle shelf and added the wheels - brilliant!
This hand washing station is in a home environment in Southern France.
This is a fantastic DIY also in a home environment. This was made using a step stool.
This is a comprehensive care of self station for a two-year-old.
This gorgeous example is from a Montessori/Pikler baby and toddler playgroup in Sydney. This bowl is lovely!!
I love all of these examples. We have a little metal pitcher and bowl but I'm not sure exactly where ours will go or how to facilitate its use. I have a little bit of time before we need it, it's fun researching in the meantime!
