Montessori Home Spaces I'm Loving This Week!

A colourful reading corner with lots of storage space!

This is a cute little wardrobe from Manine Montessori. It's always a good idea to provide a little chair or stool next to the wardrobe for the child to sit on. This family has got the balance right, enough clothes for the child to make a choice but not so much as to overwhelm.

Above is a lovely, compact art area. I've always wanted some of those coloured pencil holders!

A large bookcase with forward facing books!

I love this room arrangement. Low bed, work table with work shelves and bookshelves! It looks so lovely with the huge window providing lots of light. It's cute too, it looks like a space a child would enjoy.

This area is so simple and really highlights the key elements - hanging hooks for coats and hats, a place to sit and take shoes off (or put them on) and a place to store the shoes. The chair looks so soft and comfortable.

While I like the bookshelves and low bed what I love the most about this room is the natural colours, fibres and textures!

This is a really cute floor bed! A toddler could easily get in and out but wouldn't roll or accidentally fall out. The artwork is fun and quirky too!
